The kettle cover is equipped with a pressure gauge made of stainless steel, a safety valve, and two vent valves. The kettle body is installed inside the cylinder shell, and two heating resistors are installed at the lower outer part for heating the kettle body and producing water vapor; The bottom pipe is connected to the electric contact pressure gauge, which is coordinated with the electrical control system to control the pressure inside the kettle within the set range. The upper part of the cylinder shell is equipped with a ventilation ring, and the lower part is equipped with a ventilation plate to block or open the air around the kettle body. An exhaust fan is installed at the lower part to cool down after the experiment. The control box panel is equipped with a main power switch, three buttons for start, stop, and fan, four indicator lights for run, heating, fan, and stop, and a digital time relay for timing.

1. Open the kettle lid and inject 7% to 10% of the kettle's volume of 8.5L, which is 595cc to 850cc of distilled water, into the kettle. (Usually recommended water injection volume: 700ml~800ml)

3. Clean the sealing surfaces of the kettle mouth and lid with cotton yarn, and then apply a thin layer of clean engine oil on the sealing surface of the kettle mouth with a brush.

4. Gently cover the kettle lid, press down and rotate it left and right to confirm that the joint is properly sealed. Tighten 10 nuts by hand. Then use a torque wrench to tighten the nuts evenly in diagonal order three times at 50, 100, and 100 Nm, and install the kettle cover.

5. Inject 3-5 drops of engine oil into the thermometer tube at the center of the kettle cover (usually with the oil level not higher than the mercury bulb of the thermometer), and gently insert the 300 ℃ mercury thermometer into the tube.

6. Open either of the two release valves.

7. Adjust the red upper limit pointer of the electric contact pressure gauge to 2.025MPa (i.e. increase by half a grid at 2MPa); Adjust the green lower limit pointer to 1.975MPa.

8. Close the ventilation panel and ventilation ring.

9. Connect the power supply, turn on the main power switch on the control box, press the start button, the running and heating indicator lights will turn on, and the kettle body will start heating at 1800W power. At the same time, the digital time relay starts displaying.

When water vapor is discharged from an opened vent valve, it indicatescementSteaming kettleThe internal air has been completely expelled, close the vent valve. After the valve is closed, the pressure will increase with the rise of temperature (refer to the attached table for temperature and pressure). At this time, attention should be paid to whether the instrument is working abnormally. 11. After stopping heating, the fan will automatically start working, the signal light will be on, the ventilation plate and ventilation ring will be opened, and hot air will be discharged from the ventilation ring. The pressure inside the kettle will drop below 0.1MPa within 90 minutes. At this point, the vent valve can be opened to release the remaining pressure inside the kettle. Please do not close the vent valve, as it may cause negative pressure inside the kettle and damage the pressure gauge after cooling.

12. WaitingcementSteaming kettleAfter cooling to room temperature, press the stop button, the signal light will turn off, the exhaust fan will stop, turn off the main power switch, remove the thermometer, and use the same method as installing the kettle cover to unscrew 10 fastening nuts (at least two cycles should be used to loosen the nuts to avoid damaging the sealing joint surface), remove the kettle cover, and take out the specimen bracket. Use a hose or towel to clean the distilled water inside the kettle.

13. Stop the test procedure midway: Press the "stop" button to open the ventilation plate and ventilation ring, press the "fan" button, wait for the instrument to cool down, and reinstall the test.

2. Only distilled water can be used to avoid leaving dirt in the kettle due to the use of other water, which may affect the testing accuracy.

If there are any abnormalities, effective measures should be taken in a timely manner, and the experiment should be stopped if necessary.

4.cementSteaming kettleDuring initial use, there may be a rubber odor, which is caused by the internal rubber asbestos insulation layer being heated. After 3-5 uses, it will return to normal.

5.cementSteaming kettleThe pressure gauge and electric contact pressure gauge should be sent for inspection on time to ensure reliable operation and correct testing. If there is a slight reading error between two pressure gauges during use, it is due to the inherent grade tolerance of the pressure gauge, which does not affect its use. Usually, the pressure indicator gauge is used as the standard.

6.cementSteaming kettleThe safety valve should be inspected twice a year. Usually, the holding pressure is too low, which can be detected during regular testing; If the holding pressure is too high, it can only be known through routine inspection. Although the kettle has undergone a 4MPa pressure sealing test during production, maintaining a high pressure is not very safe. The specific inspection method is to adjust the red upper limit pointer of the electric contact pressure gauge to 2.2MPa, follow the operation sequence during the test, and observe whether the exhaust starts when the pressure reaches 2.2MPa. If the exhaust is normal.
